Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav
Independence day is coming and we all Indians are waiting for it as it is one of the most important days for all Indians. This was the day on which the provisions of the Indian Independence Act of 1947 came into effect. Thus, every year we celebrate Independence day on 15 August and it is marked throughout India with flag-raising ceremonies, drills, and the singing of the Indian national anthem.
Every year at Red Fort, our Prime Minister participates in flag-raising, and a parade ensuing with members of the armed forces and police.
So, this year on this auspicious day our nation is celebrating “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” to celebrate 75 years of Independence of India. On this occasion the Ministry of culture, Govt of India has given a portal “www.rashtragaan.in” to make the maximum number of our faculty members and students sing Rashtra Gaan and upload it on the given portal till 12 August 2021.
Also, the Ministry will immediately provide a certificate just after uploading the video. Oscar-winner music composer AR Rahman is also a part of this initiative by the Government of India. So, why are you still thinking, record yourself and stand out from the rest and make a mark for yourself in front of the best?
If you are confused about how to upload the video then here are the instructions for uploading Rashtra Gaan:
- First, open the portal “rashtragaan.in“
- Then, enter the necessary details
- After that, stand and record your video by singing Rashtra Gaan
- The last step is, upload that video
- Do not forget to download the certificate after uploading the video

We request the class coordinators and mentors to circulate this with their students so that they can take part in this special occasion Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. A compilation of the uploaded videos of the National Anthem will be shown live on 15th August 2021.
